Chris was appointed as the Chief Information Officer for Public Trust in June 2020.
Chris has previously spent 11 years working at the Department of Internal Affairs (DIA), most recently in the role of Chief Advisor to the CEO. His other roles at the DIA have been as Acting Deputy CEO (Corporate Services) where he was responsible for leading a team of over 400 spanning finance, HR, ICT, property, communications, information management and security.
He also held the role of Chief information Officer at the DIA for four years with responsibility for the department’s technology strategy and delivery.
Chris represents the Executive as the only Wellington-based team member, so his cross functional experience along with his strong leadership and ability to shape positive working environments is hugely valuable.
