Fees and charges
Our fees and charges are changing, see below for more information.
Our fees and charges vary depending on the services you need. They are based on the work we do, the complexity of your situation and the level of expertise required.
Where fees and charges are calculated based on time, we’ll advise you of our hourly rates which reflect the experience and expertise of our advisers. Our fees and charges are exclusive of GST, disbursements and third party costs, except where stated otherwise.
The fees and charges listed in the price lists below are for standard and straightforward scenarios of each service. We're happy to provide you a more detailed estimate of our expected fees and charges before you make any decisions to proceed with a service.
For some services, the fees that Public Trust may charge for its services is subject to a cap. This means that Public Trust’s fees and charges cannot exceed 5% of the total value of the assets of the estate and the income received by Public Trust in respect of the estate. There are however some fees (Special fees) that are not subject to the cap, which includes (but is not limited to) obtaining a grant of probate from the courts, managing property, carrying on a business, and legal services.
If you have any questions about our fees and charges, please speak to your adviser or call us on 0800 371 471.
