Your pre-appointment checklist

To make your will, you'll need:

  1. Proof of address (e.g. recent utility bill or bank statement)
  2. Photographic identification (e.g. passport or two forms of other photographic identification). See the
full list of acceptable forms of identification.
  3. The correct and full names of all the people and beneficiaries you want included in your will.
  4. If applicable:

  5. Property sharing agreement/Relationship Property Agreement (sometimes called a "prenup")
  6. Life insurance details (i.e. insurer, policy owner and approx. value)
  7. Family Trust Deed (if your family trust is not already with Public Trust)

You're all set!

Once you've gathered the items on the checklist and thought about the five questions, you're ready for your appointment. We look forward to speaking to you then.
