If your will needs are more comprehensive, like you have overseas assets, you’re part of a blended family, or you have complex property or trusts, and a comprehensive will is suggested, you are still eligible for the offer, but you will need to pay $11.20 (valued at $219)*.
You’ll have received an email from New Zealand Red Cross with a link to officially register your interest using our online form.
After submitting your online form, you will receive an email from the Philanthropy Team within five business days confirming either that you have been allocated this offer or, if the allocation has been exhausted, notifying you that you have been put on the waitlist.
If your offer is confirmed, your information from the form will be transferred to Public Trust.
Public Trust will then email you the login details for the website, where you will receive access to the free Basic or Standard Online Will.

Once you have received login access, you have one month to create your will. Please note that over that 30-day period you can make unlimited edits. At the end of the 30-day period the draft will that has been created will be progressed to the next step and will not be able to be adjusted without the possible inclusion of additional cost.
Once your will is created, you will need to print it off and have it signed and witnessed by two independent people that are not related to anyone named in your will. You do not need to do this at Public Trust.
Once your will has been signed and witnessed, you can upload it to Public Trust’s online platform, keep a physical copy in your own files, or have a physical copy stored at any of Public Trust’s 20+ offices around the country for free.
