LW Nelson Junior Scholarship

History

The LW Nelson Junior Scholarship was established in 1958 by Northland farmer and business man Laurence William Nelson. The purpose of this Scholarship is to allow the pupil to attend boarding school at any school within the Trusts funding region. The Scholarship is managed and administered by Public Trust

The Laurence William Nelson Junior Scholarship is open to pupils who wish to attend School as a boarder and who meet the following criteria:

  • Aged 13 years or less, and
  • Would not be able to attend School otherwise than as a boarder and,
  • Who reside in the Northland Area, within the boundaries of the districts of Kaipara, Whangarei and the Far North.

How to apply

Applications will open in September each year.
