Louisa and Patrick Emmett Murphy Foundation

The Foundation was established to provide for the benefit of charitable organisations within New Zealand. The Settlor’s intention was to support a range of charitable causes predominantly in the Auckland area (as defined by the Auckland Super City boundaries – broadly from Wellsford to Pukekohe). To be eligible, organisations must benefit people within the Auckland area by:

  • Providing assistance and care for terminally ill people in our community.
  • Improving the quality of life for our older people in our community.
  • Providing assistance and care for people suffering from illness in our community.

The next call for Expressions of interest will be in September 2017. There is be a two stage section process:

  1. Expressions of Interest forms may be submitted by a charitable organisation. Public Trust will acknowledge receipt of the Expression of Interest.
  2. Expressions of interest will be assessed by the Trustee who will respond to all applicants to inform them that their Expression of Interest was not successful or to invite them to submit a full application.
