Alert Level 2- how we can help you

Public Trust will be opening our customer centres for face-to-face appointments while the country is at alert level 2 from Thursday 14th May.

We’re also still available for phone and video conference appointments if you’d still prefer a contactless appointment.

Customer centre trading hours

From Thursday 14th May, we will be resuming our usual hours of 8:30am to 5pm from Monday to Friday.

What to expect in our centres

We want to keep you and our team safe. This means, we’ll practise social distancing during our meeting together and follow increased hygiene practises as outlined by the Ministry of Health.

  • Hand sanitiser will be provided when you arrive and leave.
  • Gloves and masks are available on request.
  • Please follow our 2 metre floor markers when in shared spaces like our waiting rooms.
  • Let us open the doors for you.
  • We’ll ask you a few questions so we can contact you after your visit if we need to.

To prevent the spread of COVID-19, please do not visit our customer centres if:

  • you are have felt or are feeling unwell in any way, such as exhibiting any cold or flu symptoms in the last 14 days.
  • if you have been in close contact with anyone who has felt or have been feeling unwell, such as exhibiting any cold or flu symptoms in the last 14 days.
  • you or someone in your household is waiting for COVID test results.

Doing business online

If you need to get an up-to-date will or enduring powers of attorney (EPAs), you can do this from the safety and comfort of your own home with our new online tool: www.publictrust.co.nz/personal/online

The tool can cater to wills and EPAs for almost any family situation and comes with a range of support options.
