Keeping safe at Alert Level 2

Following the Government’s announcement that Auckland is to move to alert level 2 along with the rest of New Zealand, Public Trust will be following protocols to help keep our teams, customers and the wider community safe.

All Public Trust customer centres are open under Alert Level 2 from Monday 31 August.

We are available for face-to-face appointments but we ask you to consider to have your appointment via phone or video conference. Call us on 0800 371 471 or email info@publictrust.co.nz to make any adjustments to your appointment.

Customer centre trading hours

From Monday 31 August, we will be resuming our usual hours of 8:30am to 5pm from Monday to Friday.

What to expect in our centres

We want to keep you and our team safe. This means, we’ll practise social distancing during our meeting together and follow increased hygiene practises as outlined by the Ministry of Health.

  • Use hand sanitiser, gloves and masks, which may be available
  • Maintain a 2m distance with others and follow any floor markers or signage when in shared spaces like our waiting rooms
  • We’ll open doors for you to minimise what you need to touch
  • We’ll get you to sign in to help us in the event of contact tracing and also get you to scan our QR code. We won’t be using your information for any other purposes

To prevent the spread of COVID-19, please do not visit our customer centres if:

  • You are have felt or are feeling unwell in any way, such as exhibiting any cold or flu symptoms in the last 14 days.
  • If you have been in close contact with anyone who has felt or have been feeling unwell, such as exhibiting any cold or flu symptoms in the last 14 days.
  • You or someone in your household is waiting for COVID test results.

If you need to get an up-to-date will or enduring powers of attorney (EPAs), you can do this from the safety and comfort of your own home with our new online tool: www.publictrust.co.nz/personal/online

The tool can cater to wills and EPAs for almost any family situation and comes with a range of support options.
