Before coming to Public Trust for a meeting please consider:

  • Are you feeling unwell?
  • Have you been overseas in the past two weeks?
  • Has anyone you are in close contact with been overseas in the past two weeks?

If the answer to any of these questions is yes, please call us on 0800 371 471.

We may be able to delay this meeting for two weeks, or host the meeting over the phone or via video conferencing.

We’re closely monitoring the COVID-19 coronavirus situation. Currently, the Ministry of Health is advising that the risk of a widespread outbreak in the New Zealand community remains low.

However, with a few more cases being reported, we think it’s wise to begin taking extra precautions to help keep our customers and our people safe.

Please see the Ministry of Health’s guidelines for more information.

We understand that these questions may feel a little awkward, but please rest assured that our aim is to protect our customers, our people and the wider New Zealand community from further spread of the virus.

Getting guidance

We recognise that each situation is different, so if the questions above don’t apply to your situation, please get in touch with your Relationship Manager, or call us on 0800 371 471.

Our centres practise good hygiene

For the safety of our customers and our people, we’re following good hygiene practices as recommended by the Ministry of Health.

The Ministry of Health recommends:

  • Covering coughs and sneezes with tissues or your elbow
  • Putting used tissues in a rubbish bin or in a plastic bag
  • Washing and drying hands often, especially after coughing or sneezing – use soap or hand sanitiser
  • Not touching your face
  • Staying away from others if unwell.

We’re also taking the extra steps of:

  • Ensuring all utensils are thoroughly washed with detergent and hot water after use and again immediately before use to minimise the likelihood of contamination
  • Regularly wiping down shared workspaces including desks and shared tools, such as your mouse, keyboard and phone
  • Regularly wiping down door handles and other high-touch surfaces
  • Making hand sanitiser available in all of our reception areas.

Thank you for helping us keep the risk of a more widespread outbreak of the COVID-19 coronavirus in the New Zealand community low.
