The professionalism and contribution of Theresa Donnelly have been recognised, with the Public Trust senior solicitor nominated for the 2018 MinterEllisonRuddWatts In-House Lawyer of the Year Award.
The recognition is part of the 14th annual NZ Law Awards and acknowledges the quantity, quality and innovativeness of the nominee’s professional work.
Theresa was nominated as a finalist by industry peers, including in-house senior practitioners and those from private practice firms.
“The nomination is testament to Theresa’s enthusiasm and contribution providing legal services that benefit the organisations she represents and their customers. It recognises her spirit of public service and love of the law,” says Public Trust General Manager Legal and Governance Liz Style.
Theresa graduated from Auckland University and was admitted as a barrister and solicitor in 1992. She has worked in various areas of litigation for private practice firms, as well as in-house counsel in the public sector.
Over this time, she has accumulated significant experience in elder law.
