How does it work?
We can help you set up a charitable trust during your lifetime or as part of your Will. As trustee of the charitable trust, our role is to ensure the assets are invested to provide lasting benefits and your intentions are carried out long after you're gone.
You can decide the purpose to benefit and how; and you can donate as much as you want. The trust is tax free and others can also make donations.
How does it work(continued)?
Charitable trusts work best when there is sufficient money to enable both ongoing charitable gifting and capital growth. Generally this means an initial contribution of $200,000 or more.
For gifting of less than this, there are other ways to give to charity - like making a bequest or contributing to an existing trust.
