History
The Pukehou Pouto Scholarship was established from a bequest from the estate of Edith Fraser. Miss Fraser, who died in 1980, wished that the scholarship be used to fund studies in agriculture of silvicultural sciences. Awarded annually, the scholarship is avaliable for post-graduate students at any New Zealand university.
The scholarship is managed by Public Trust but the grants process is administered by the New Zealand Vice-Chancellors' Committee.
