If you use our online service to make a Will, you are responsible for updating your Will if your circumstances change. We cannot be held liable for any loss, damage or consequence as a result of any change to your circumstances that may affect your Will.

Providing advice
The Public Trust online service contains limited information to assist you to make a simple Will. The information provided as part of the online service is not intended to constitute professional advice. The online service does not contain the advice that you may need if your circumstances are complex. You must contact us if you think you need professional advice or if you would like us to legally check your Will before you sign it. No liability is accepted in respect of you, your personal representatives or the beneficiaries of your estate if you choose to proceed to make a Will without contacting us and obtaining advice.

The information you provide about yourself through the website and the online service will be held securely and in accordance with our Privacy & Security policy. The information won't be disclosed, unless you've agreed to this or the law requires us to disclose.
